Just after a passing storm, filthy 5504, 5513 and 5517 approach the yard limit at Phippsburg on its way north to reload in September 1985.

Five locomotives and a caboose head west out of Gore Canyon towards Azure siding and, ultimately, Phippsburg to work back an eastbound coal train. Locomotives were 5504 5513 5517 5404 and 5366.
